Mags Colvett is a writer and editor born and mostly raised in east Tennessee. They hold an M.F.A. from Ohio State University and an M.A. from the University of Georgia, and have received grants, prizes, or fellowships from the New York Foundation for the Arts’ Queens Arts Fund, Creatives Rebuild New York, Brooklyn Poets, Gale/Cengage, and the Academy of American Poets’ University and College Prizes, among others. They live in Queens, where they work in public health communications.
